Game 1: He had a bad hand with 3 Raigeki Breaks, so I just attack him with my Black Feathers.

Game 2: Drew 2 D.D. Crows, but there was no use for them and I got beaten by Tytannial.

Game 3: Drew 2 D.D Crows again, but this time I used one of them to RFP his Dandylion and the other to stop his Pot Of Avarice.

Match 3: Lauren VS Justin (Twilight Beat) XOO - The guy who won the Duel Disk.

Game 1: I Icarus Attack into his Starlight Road and it went downhill from there.

Game 2: Summoned Sirroco and destroyed his Raiou and Shura with it, with Icarus attack backing me up.

Game 3: I used Heavy Storm while I had a face-up Royal Oppression and he tried to counter with Starlight Road but he did'nt know that Royal Oppression can negate Starlight Road.

Match 4: Lauren VS Jeric (BF) XOO

Game 1: I can't remember how he won.

Game 2: I can't remember what happened here too.

Game 3: I controlled him with Raiou and won.

Match 5: Lauren VS Chard (Only Richard's Gun without TRISHULA) XOX

Game 1: He did the Asia Format Infernity OTK on me.

Game 2: I controlled him with Raiou.

Game 3: He went first and tried setting up by using up all his cards, He ended up with quite a strong field of Synchro Monsters including Stardust Dragon. There was nothing I could really do, so I summoned Shura and attacked into his Gaia, Force Of The Earth with Book Of Moon, searched out Gale and Synchro Summoned Armor Master . Suprisingly the Armor Master saved me for a turn, and when it died to his Infernity Death Dragon he summoned next turn, I topdecked into Dark Armed Dragon with 3 Dark Monsters in my Graveyard (Shura, Gale and Armor Master), destroyed his Stardust Dragon by attacking with Dark Armed Dragon and proceeded to destroy his other 3 Monster Cards with Dark Armed Dragon's Effect, I also summon Raiou to control him further. Next turn he top decked Infernity Necromancer, reviving his Infernity Death Dragon and destroying my Dark Armed Dragon with its Effect. I could not do much with my whole hand of monsters and died.

Notes: Infernity is still very strong even without Trishula.

Battle for 3rd Place: Lauren VS Baha

We decided to share the Yusei Duelist Pack 2 Box, we randomly picked 2 foils each from the box, He got Junk Archer and another card, while I get Scrubbed Raid and the other Trap Card. I took 6 of the other packs while he took 5.

The eventual winner for this tournament was Chard who won Starsky in the Finals.

So I playtested a little after the tourney, and rushed home to send Konami an email on the changes in my deck (Finally decided the last 3 cards to put in my side deck thanks to Chard lol)

According to this:

Special Summoning “Drill Warrior” and adding 1 Monster Card to your hand do not happen at the same time. You Special Summon, then add the Monster Card to your hand. “Bottomless Trap Hole” cannot be activated.^[1]

Which means Drill Warrior can continuously avoid cards like Bottomless Traphole, even from the 1st time it is summoned by halving its attack. However beware of Royal Oppression.

Went for the Trishula tournament at Ang Mo Kio today.

Match One: Jess (Black Feathers) OO
Round 1: Summoned a few X-Saber Airbellums to discard his hand and continued to win by beatdown.
Round 2: Forgot lol.

Match 2: JianYue (Dragoon D-End Heroes) OO
Round 1: He tried to negate my Tragoedia's summoning using Paradox Fusion by removing from play Dragoon D-End, but I used Solemn Judgment on it causing him to lose his Dragoon D-End.
Round 2: Both of us were down to very few cards, when he set his Dandylion I removed it from play using Cauis and when he set Morphing Jar I removed it from play by releasing my Cauis for another one lol.

Round 1: My Firedog got bottomlessed lol.

Format : Single Elimanation

Match 1 : De Zheng XOO ( Machiner )

Round 1 : too Man liaos , we are both in top deck mode . And my field gt 1 Atk 2100 Laquari and set 1 Gladiator Beast Inner Power , then he gt one geartown face down . Then He top draw Geartown and set it , and rape me with Ancient Gear Golem for the next few turn .

Round 2 : Since he put his hand so low , and like give me see . SO i know what card and rape him with alot of Gb monster .

Round 3 : he duno that he throw Jinzo returner and Jinzo for Machiner Fotress , then his returner miss timing , then i oppress him . After that , that deck since to need alot of SS then he kena lock down by me . So i end up raping him with 2x Laquari .

Match 2 : ????? ( SpellCaster ) OO

Round 1 : Trap dustshoot him first turn , know what card he have and i return his last monster that he can summon plus he no protection then he died shortly after .

Round 2 : he too fierce solemn my Waboku , then after that i end phase Call Of the haunted at end phase and use American Style Of Drawing and top draw A Bestari , and contact then he gt Gorz , but never mind tag out and blow his gorz off and activate Smashing ground his token . and he seem no monster to summon and scoop .

Match 3 : ???? ( Vietnam Player ) not sure what deck , but in a very MAN WAY i call it Chapalng . OO

Round 1 : Cannot stop laughing for what he say when he playing , like " Stop right there " and some random funny stuff , and he do not know Raioh effect and Synchro summon goyo then i just raioh him and he died shortly after . Since i got ton of monster .

Round 2 : I anyhow side , cause seem fun to anyhow side . then i side 1x oppression , then still can draw it at hand first maybe Daren Oppression too strong , then oppression his Goyo Guardian , hatred against His goyo guardian . And he seem irrtated by me since i keep laughing , and keep using Andal to rape him . Overall Andal too strong , Andal plus Chariot = COOL .

Match 4 : Chang Peng ( Random BF ) OO

Round 1 : I forgot how i rape him until he left 2 card in hand , and i having 6 card in hand and 6 card on field . Misplay once and lead the duel very LONG . But still win , COMPULSORY too strong against BF liaos .

Round 2 : Hand was bad , but at least gt alot of 1 For 1 card . Play very defensive as too scared of Icarus and after i get rape by Bora twice . Laquari hatred help me get my revenge , and knowing that he most probably never run oppression , then keep using Bestiari to destroy his back row ,
and manage to control very well and he died of Raioh and Laquari .

Ovaerall : Get 1st , take 2x machine Deck . Long time never win tournament liaos . Charmender faster think of your PASSWORD .

Match 1 Vs . Xing You : XX ( Oppresion Feather )

Round 1 : i draw into Green Hand , and when i trying to use Golden Sarcophagus to search out for Summon priest , i run through my whole deck and cannot find my find my Summon Priest as i forgot to put in the deck . So i decided for Rescue Cat , and when i get back my Cat the next turn he killed me .

Round 2 : He let me put in Summon priest , but i throw into bad hand and was killed shortly by him

Match 2 Vs . ??? : OO ( Gladiator Beast )

Round 1 : Keep getting advantage as he do not have any thing to counter my X-Saber Airbellum and dropping his hand , with he ended up with no hand and i rush him with Synchro .

Round 2 : Summon Priest like me today and i keep drawing it , with 1 s/t removal card and a magic card which ended up for me to getting advantage as he cannot protect by Monster , and control by my Natural Beast and Arcanite .

Match 3 Vs . Sazabi : OXO Roid Machiner ( think so )

Round 1 : My starting hand was very bad and i decided to stall for my Summon Priest , i suddenly turn my head and see Daren which give me the idea to use Golden Sarcophagus to search out for Brain Control as he always do that when using my deck . and i drew into Priest next turn and a Cyber Dragon . which ended up i swarm the field with 1 Arcanite (2400atk) , 1 Airbellum , Cyber Dragon , Chaos Sorcerer and brain control his Machiner to OTK him .

Round 2 : my hand was quite ok , and i set my Ryko and end my turn . he set 2 card and end , i flip my Ryko up and he sucks my energy away by using Light Mirror . and he keep poking me with some machiner .

Round 3 : i set a Spy and end my turn , and ended up he swarming all kind of Machiner . bt lucky got spy to protect me , then i summon Kycoo but duno how i manage to survive until next turn and i black rose him and summon Dark Armed Dragon to lower his life point , and he do not have any hand so ended up i keep destroying his card and attack him .

Match 4 : Jess OO ( Cosmo Deck )

Round 1 : He like getting alot of Monster hand, i set spy, he breaker, i bottomless, he cyber dragon kill one then i search out another. Then summon airbellum make Arcanite rape his cyber dragon. Then he set 1 airbellum and i blow it up with arcanite then switch it to defence. i use sea koala to atk him and then i activate call of the haunted to summon Airbellum to gain advantage and synchro for Natural Beast and control with an arcanite with counter. but i'm storm him and tio starlight road. almost die but lucky his stardust never poke and it died later.

Round 2: he use gale attack then i mirror force he book. i forgot use spy poke and he topdraw brain control take my spy to make armor master and I risk with with allure into super sangan and super duper brain control! I out sangan and brain control his armor master for game!!

Hey yo people it's Charmander here doing a tourney report on today's tournament at Jurong's Thousand Taste Trading! So uh, I think I might have forgotten some details here and there but I'll try my best lol.

Deck used: Gladiator Beasts

Round 1 - Wei Xiang 'Twilight' OXO

Game 1 - Hmm I think I drew pretty well for the first game so I controlled with fair ease. Going first especially helped. Alot. Cause Waboku kept screwing him hard as he charged his smaller monsters into my bigger ones with the intention of using Honest.

Game 2 - He opens averagely with Charge and several other stuff, soon leading into a field of Lumina, Lyla, and Aurkus. I contemplated attacking with my Kycoo or Laquari, but was scared if Honest. Also, since I had Waboku and Chariot in hand, I would still survive should I not attack. After some thinking time, I got some balls to use Kycoo to attack his Lumina, and luckily he didn't have Honest. So uh, next turn he goes Lumina into Wulf, does a lot of hand spamming, and I lose shortly after. No he did not lucksack much, he won based off skill (:

Game 3 - I open kinda well. I remember he got close to getting out Judgment Dragon in the middle of the game and I luckily managed to get a sucessful Kycoo attack in, and win shortly after. Come to think of it, it was lucky he didn't have any Necro Gardna at all, given that he milled quite a bit of his deck off.

Round 2 - Jun Yong 'Poo Poo GB' XOX
Game 1 - He damn imba lah. He cut my deck till I drew Laquari, Darius, Murmilo, Hoplomus, Proving Ground, and a lone support trap which I think was either Waboku or Book of Moon. I found myself unable to keep up with his 3 backrow and laquari opening and died shortly.

Game 2 - Don't remember anything much, except that we were both in topdecking states, I had 50 and he had 1500. My Retiari got in an attack and dropped him to 300, then he did very very horrible thing to my GB and I solemned, bringing myself to 25 and he scooped.

Game 3 - His side was way too strong. He sets 3 and summons Laquari before passing. I set 4, among of which were War Chariot, Proving Ground, Book of Moon, and Solemn. He used Dust Tornado on Solemn at end phase, used his freshly drawn Mystical Space Typhoon on my Book of Moon, and I was left with 2 fake cards to contend. Obviously I died. Lol.

Round 3 - Gary/Hong 'Vayu Blackwing' OXO

Game 1 - I think I opened with an excellent hand, and controlled him for a few turns and finally managed to go for game soon after I got Heraklinos out.

Game 2 - I only remember he allured into Sirroco and Bora, and killed my poor Retiari with Sirroco and 2 Bora. ):

Game 3 - I only remember overextending by setting Bottomless, Compulsory, and War Chariot to support my Equeste even though he hadn't used Storm yet. It helped. I bottomlessed a Shura, compulsed a Armed Wing, and set my 2nd Compulsory next turn to bounce off his Armoured Wing. Won shortly after.

Round 4 - Junqi 'Synchro Cat' OO

Game 1 - I open, having a relatively good matchup due to Chariot. Controlled for several turns, and Solemned his Call of Haunted I think so that I could attack for game.

Game 2 - The game was kinda slow paced, though I eventually got out a Heraklinos + Chariot + Oppression setup. Got my Herk killed due to a major misplay lol. Like wasting Chariot on something insignificant before getting halfed by Gale and being killed by Airbellum on the following turn. Luckily dearest Herk got me enough advantage by the time he died to ensure me game.

Round 5 - Lauren 'Dimensional Eatos' XOO

Game 1 - He had so many monsters and Waboku without monsters = useless. Got killed by an endless stream of monsters very quickly.

Game 2 - Andal hit him twice before he decided to Vortex it, and even Bribed my Compulsory Evacuation Device when I tried to save Andal with it ): Though Laquari got revenge for Andal and I won shortly after.

Game 3 - Lol I think we were both in topdecking scenarios, while he had Burden of the Mighty. I top deck a Laquari and kill him. After we both pick up our decks he realises he had 1800 on his calculator while I had him at 1200 on mine. We didn't bother resolving the miscalclations cause we both kept our decks already. This eventually led to him getting a Red Dragon Archfiend while I got Lightsworn Angel, Celestia.

Round 6 - Samuel 'Zombie Synchro' OO

Game 1 - I take a few hits from Goblin Zombie and Pyramid Turtle, dropping me to about 4000 life points. Then I topdeck a Raiou and killed his Goblin Zombie, and used Fissure on his Turtle. He blocked my advances for several turns with his Necro Guardna(s) and I summon Kycoo next turn for rape.

Game 2 - He opens with a simple set card, which I thought he sided in Ryko. So I summoned Darius, set Chariot, and ended. He then tributed it for Caius, and allowed me to Chariot it. Then I control for a few turns before I Torrential a Caius later on to save my Kycoo from the 1000 damage. Then I attempt to control for a few turns but his Burials and Necro Guardna(s) seemed never ending. I finally rid his resources to a Foolish Burial into Mezuki and a last card in hand. He removed Mezuki for Plaguespreader and I Chariot it, believing his last in hand card to be a Synchro Material or Caius. He then scoops.

Round 7 Jun Yong 'Poo Poo GB'

Since we were both rushing for time, we just rolled the dice to see who took what. I rolled a 4 and got Celestia from the prize pool. He rolled a 1 and got Sirroco. So yup, I think that was it today. Some parts may be inaccurate due to horrible memory but whatever. Lol.

All in all, Merry Christmas folks and remember that the world is flat.

And uh, I think I need a new deck.

Hello everyone! Today, we have Charmander doing our Card Review #2.

Today, our key card is Nekogal #1.

First, let's take a look at her stats:

DEF: 900

A pussy-fairy. Contrary to her lovely beauty, she claws on her enemies.

Now, that's quite some amazing stats she's got. Firstly, she's got 1100 ATK, cabable of getting under the widely used Bottomless Trap Hole, while still being capable of destroying the likes of Eyearmor!

Being a Beast, it can be brought out with Rescue Cat, along with X-Saber-Airbellum, to bring forth the powerful OCG Exclusive, Natural Balkion! How fearsome indeed!

But what truly makes this card a good one, is probably the fact that it's a pussy-fairy, whom claws on her enemies in direct contrast to her vast beauty. What a pussy! Uh, fairy.

But anyway, 'How can I get my hands on his powerful card!?' You ask?

Well, it's pretty easy to be honest. It was originally printed in Vol 4 as a common, alongside 49 other cards. Looking at this review, it's pretty much the best card in the set!

You TCG players must probably be thinking, "Then wouldn't it be just an OCG Exclusive?"

Well kiddos, it is. But there's no reason to fear! For all of you pussy(fairy) lovers out there, it's reprinted in Tournament Pack 6 over in American shores, so all of you can use it too!

And so Lauren told me to start blogging on here too. So here I am, prepare for spam!

So anyway, to protect my sexy privacy, I shall be typing articles using the alias of Charmader! Char char! Charmander pwns you alive. Ember with 40 dmg + STAB! So anyway, I'm supposed to do a tourney report for last saturday. So this is coming a little late, and my memory has kinda faded, but I'll see what I can remember.

Deck used: Blackwing Oppression

Round 1 - Lauren 'Dimensional Eatos' OO

Game 1 - You can actually read what happened on his post. But yeah, just for the heck of it, I went first, searched for something insignificant with Whirlwind, set Icarus and Mystical. He set 3, pondered for a while before setting the fourth. So apparently I though the last trap was the most useless and destroyed the first three at end phase. Some weak sauce stuff along with 1 Starlight Road. He died shortly after.

Game 2 - Hmm, apparently my Shura has it's dick stuck in Black Whirlwind's pussy so yeah, they came together as usual. So after some Bottomless exchange here and there, I finally got to pull off the Whirlwind and got Kulat to rape him.

Round 2 - Banana 'GB in Pajamas' XOO

Game 1 - He went first, used priest into cat into Palkion. Tried to get Whirlwind's effect, but was hit by Bottomless. Then next turn he got himself a Equeste taking back the Samnite he used to make Palkion, set 1 card which I thought was War Chariot. So I Sirroco, used Whirlwind to get Gale, special summoned it along with Blast. Too scared of Chariot so I didn't half a thing. Then after killing the Equeste so I'd be safe from Chariot, I made Stardust. Though angry Brain Control killed me shortly after.

Game 2 - Don't really remember much. I think we were in some topdecking war, and I topdecked Bora to get hit by Bottomless. He poked, and next turn I topdecked Shura to kill Equeste which then resulted in game.

Game 3 - Only thing I remember was having a Kulat in hand versus his Equeste. Topdecked a Bora to whack over it for game again. Top decking is pro.

Round 3 - Faiz 'Hopeless Dragon' OO

Game 1 - He opened with a horrible hand I presume. He scooped in the second turn.

Game 2 - He opened with yet another horrible hand, and scooped soon after too. He didn't really seem to mind scooping lol.

Round 4 - Gary/Hong 'Blackwing Oppression' OO

Game 1 - I opened with double Whirlwind. Summoned Shura, got 2 Kulat, sexy position. He had 1 Whirlwind, summoned Bora, got hit by my bottomless, died shortly after when I got another two searches off Whirlwind with Bora next turn.

Round 5 - Banana 'GB in Pajamas' XX

Game 1 - He got too angry about my previous topdecks and kept throwing GBs in my face. I only remember he attacked with 2 GBs, brought me to 1200, used the first to tag, luring out my Oppression, which I used and brought my down to 600, rendering my Oppression useless, then used the second to make Bestiari and kill off my Whirlwind. Come to think of it, if I didn't oppress, he might have used Bestiari to kill Oppression and I could have gone Blizzard into Goyo next turn.

Game 2 - I don't remember a thing. I only know he got me down to a topdecking state and I scrubbed by topdecking Trap Dustshoot, which I sided in for reasons unknown to myself.

So there goes Top 8. Then I went off to play for 5th and 6th with Gary.

Round 6 - Gary/Hong 'Blackwing Oppression' OO

Game 1 - I remember we both started by setting cards a lot, I think cause we both had multiple Whirlwinds and Sirroco in hand. Then I drew a Shura, flipped Storm for a 3 for 3, then got Kulats off my Shura and two Whirlwinds, before Bottomlessing his monster next turn resulting in game.

Game 2 - He opened with Whirlwind and Bora into Vayu. Then he set 1. I then looked at my hand. Yay, got double Whirlwind in first hand with Shura yet again, and had the Mystical Space Typhoon I needed to clear Bottomless, and proceeded in for rape soon after.

Result? My deck is a good boy. <3

Game 1 - Went second, set 4 Face-Downs and he activated Icarus Attack along with Mystical Space Typhoon destroying 3 cards including Starlight Road. Lost shortly after that.
Game 2 - Forgot what happened, just remembered that he activated 2 Black Whirlwind and killed by throwing 3 Qualat in the end.

Round 2 - Yulong Meta Beat XX
Game 1 - Nothing exciting.
Game 2 - Sided in Burdens which helped a little but in the end lost to him in a topdecking war for monsters, when my last monster in the deck got hit by Bottomless Trap Hole.

Round 3 - Sazabi SazaBF( Vayu Oppression) OO
Game 1 - Opened with Cosmos and won from there onwards.
Game 2 - Sided in Dark-Imprisoning-Mirror while he sided in Dust Tornados, but he never drew into any of them.

Round 4 - Starsky Lightlord OO
Game 1 - He had no mood to play anyway, but we still went on with the game.
Game 2 - Forgot lol.

Walked to the MRT station with Junyong and Daren after that, when FireOwners called Daren telling him that i forgot to take my mat lol. Went back and saw Alex and went to take the MRT back to AMK. We stood up for a few stops until we noticed a very huge and suspicious bag lol, in the end we decided to keep walking and walking far away from that cabin until we decided to get out of the train and switch to another one.

Fiend Comedian

Toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, all of your opponent's card in the Graveyard are removed from playimmediately. If you call it wrong, send a number of cards equal to the number of cards in your opponent's Graveyardfrom your Deck to your Graveyard.

Yay for card review #1.

Personally I have tried siding in this card in my lightsworn deck, it works pretty well as it is able to mill my deck or maybe clear my opponent's graveyard.
This card is particularly good against mirror matches, Vayu Turbo and Undead Decks.
Being a normal trap gives it the advantage of chainability which mean you may chain it to the activation of your opponent's card.

Eg 1.
Jack: I activate my call of the haunted and select my Bestiari as the target. Muahahaha
Jill: Wait, i activate my Field Comedian and choose heads!!! *Flips Heads*
Jack: Oh no my Bestiari, now how am i gonna use my Gyazurus now NOOOOO!!!
Jill: Hohoho, Merry Christmas(Random)

Eg 2.
Joe: Yes, now I will attack you with my Gyazurus allowing me to tag out summoning my Darius and Equeste which in turn will summon Laquari and retrieving Chariot in order to lock you down with Heraklinos!!! Haha...Nothing can stop me now.
Jane: Not so fast you SON OF A BITCH!!! Activate Fiend Comedian!!!! *Flips tails*
Joe: So what if u can mill more Lightsworns to your your graveyard?
Jane: Thats not what I had in mind *Mills 3 Cards*
Joe: Oh no it's a Necro Guardna!!!

Joe : Oh no, my Gyazurus!!!

But all this is going to change with the release of the Extra Pack Volume 2. And with Lightlords virtually untouched in the September Banlist, we can expect Lightlords to be topping in future tournaments.

Grave BF

A relatively new deck that was introduced in ANPR, it has been topping in many recent OCG tournaments and now that the banlist has come, this deck is almost unaffected by the list and will be a tough competitor in the future.

Undead Deck

One of the top decks in the meta before the March Banlist, this deck was affected severly by the restriction of Mezuki, Zombie Carrier and Card Of Safe Return as well as the Semi-Restriction of Goblin Zombie.
But now with its main card Mezuki Semi-Restricted, will this deck be able to compete with our other top decks as well as it did in the Pre-March Format?

Gladiator Beasts

An all-time favourite, this deck has been around since GLAS but was brought in its prime in PTDN with the inclusion of Gladiator Beast Gyazurus, where GB decks were topping at almost every tournament. But one of its key cards Gladiator Beast Bestiari was Restricted in the March 2009 Banlist, causing an sudden decline in the deck's popularity and forced the deck to resort to an Anti-Meta approach. But this was changed with the release of cards such as X-Saber Airbellum and Gladiator Beast Samnite. The inclusion of these two cards brought Gladiator Beasts to a whole new level which resulted in the Gladiator Beast Synchro Deck which ruled before the September Banlist alongside with Grave BF. So will the Gladiator Beasts be able to continue their reign over the Meta or will they lose it to the other top decks.

Unexpected and uncalled for as most players usually only play a single copy in their extra decks anyway.(Other than other decks concentrated on this card to clear the field eg.Debris-Hime, Junk & Debris.)

Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind
Less Black Whirlwind abuse? Anyway this card is too broken and is practically Shrink with a body.

Call of the Haunted
With Monster Reborn Forbidden, usually there would be another revival card being sent to the Limited list.

Cripples control decks too much.
